SPRING

Spring is one of the four seasons, the transition period between winter and summer. Spring and "springtime" refer to the same season, and broadly to ideas of rebirth, renewal and regrowth. The specific definition of the exact timing of 'Spring' varies according to local climate, cultures and customs. In Spring the equinox days are close to 12 hours long with day length increasing as the season progresses.

The freshness of Spring enlivens my senses and makes me happy, its a time of growth and rebirth, a time to make things right, letting the past go to sleep. When the tulips break open in Spring and begin to flower, I know its time to bury the past. This quilt called 'Spring, is symbolic of a brand new day!
